So, for some reason I cannot get any ENBs to work on Fallout 3. Everytime I try it crashes and says "Fallout 3 has stopped working". Now, I will admit I have alot of mods and it's always possible I installed something that conflicts with ENBs (I did install a mod that get's rid of the green tint to the game), so here's my question. Has anyone had this problem before? Is there anything I can try to locate the source of the problem and fix this? Any and all help is appreciated!

Do you have Windows 10? I don't think ENB works that well with it. And have you tried the injector and the wrapper versions?

I have Windows 8. I haven't tried the injector version yet. I keep trying to get the wrapper version to work, but still nothing. I'd say it was possibly Windows 8 messing up, but I have an ENB on New Vegas and it works fine. |

@TheThompsonBoss First of all, install the enb version you want (I'm guessing the wrapper), and possibly any custom files that you get from Nexus or anywhere else. Then go to your Windows folder (probably on C disk), open system32 folder, find d3d9.dll, copy it (DO NOT REMOVE IT FROM THAT FOLDER!), and then paste it over the one in your fallout 3 installation folder. This is a completely safe approach since the system32 d3d9.dll is the same thing, except more advanced because it is needed for the Windows to run. Let me know if that works.

@VWgolfR1 Good news is my game didn't crash or anything on startup like usual. However it also didn't work. My game started, but the ENB sadly did not. Oh, well. I appreciate the help at least. Thank you.

@TheThompsonBoss Alright, another suggestion...are you running the game in compatibility mode? If you do, disable it and see if it runs. Don't forget to put the previous d3d9 back in the folder.
