I only just made an account to view some mods that weren't on the Nexus, and I admit, I was more than a bit skeptical about the site, but having someone personally message me asking if I was the recoil guy and encouraging me to introduce myself was much cooler and more informal than what I was expecting. I didn't realize how close people on the site seemed until I read around a bit more, and this definitely seems like a great community!

But to introduce myself, I go by Deus Gladiorum or DeusGladiorum on most sites including the Nexus, YouTube, and pretty much any other that doesn't directly relate to my personal life. I've only just started modding, but last week I made my first release which I'm proud to say has been in 1st place on the Fallout: New Vegas Nexus for almost a week now, with 146 endorsements and counting! I also just released version 1.1.0 earlier today for those who are interested. The mod is called Real Recoil, which is the first mod to have brought visually smooth, dynamic recoil to New Vegas, and so far the only one that I know of to calculate recoil based on ammo type rather than weapon damage or spread, making it work extremely well with weapon mods. It's also quickly become the 2nd most popular recoil mod out there, only behind Vertical recoilmod by Azerasilver, and so far I'm really excited by and happy to see all the support I've been getting, and I'm happy to start talking to people around here too!

But enough talking about my mod; I really love New Vegas, and the original Fallout really captured me. Overall it's just such a wonderful franchise with an amazing sense of post apocalyptia that has so much fantastic lore and thought and care put into a series which, unfortunately,

But I'm just teasing a bit, and I don't take it personally for those who disagree, and I'm very excited to continue modding, both in the Fallout New Vegas space and even in the Fallout 4 space. In terms of my personal life, I'm a rising senior, with a declared major of computer science and a few years of experience learning, and I'd love to take what I've learned to help create something enjoyable in Fallout in any way I can. I'm always glad to talk to people, and I'm always willing to learn more. I'm not sure what else there is to say. Any suggestions for what I should do on here next, or anything I should check out?
