I think with teams, Legion and Legate will win- Caeser's Army has i think 87 tribes while versing Sorrows and Dead Horses which are 2.

The best case scenario for Graham is the one where he fights in his own territory and he is able to put up some fight against the legion at first. But he stands no chance against the full extent of the legion power.

Battle of the armies goes to Lanius even if they are in Zion
Now a 1v1 scenario and i think the Malpais Legate gets the trophy

I like graham, but i'd have to vote for lanius...isnt he like 7 foot tall or something? lol hes a freakin giant. so, in a melee fight, i can see lanius winning.

Lol that was funny.
Anyway, I think Joshua would win on a 1-1 situation. This guy has experienced a lot of hell. But if we are talking about the Legion vs his alliance of 2 tribes. Then they are pretty much outnumbered. But there must be a reason why Caesar fears Joshua, maybe his tribe does stand a chance, or him against the legion himself, who knows.

Unfortunately I think Lanius and Caesar's army would win because they have a lot more soliders than just the sorrows and dead horses put together, probably like 20 times more soldiers. However I think Caesar's army would loose quite a few soldiers because the dead horses have their .45 pistols where as most legionnairies just have melee weapons

I think Graham would win - but would suffer very heavy losses. The legion tends to run toward their enemies in easily shot formations. Grahams tribes on the other hand tend to be more spread out and hidden. They can more easily engage in gorilla warfare than the tribes that make up the legion. Having said that though, if the legion manages to surround Grahams tribes or catches then flat-footed, then all bets are off and they would be slaughtered.

As much as I hate to say it, the Legate would win, a small band of tribals wouldn't be able to hold out against a legion assault if the legate was with them, even with the morale that Joshua would give off wouldn't be enough to keep them from being crushed.

Joshua, as he has the superstition element behind him. Lanuis is a tribal and would believe in superstition at least to some degree. Yes Lanuis has never lost a fight, which i will cover in a bit, but Graham survived being set ablaze and thrown into a mountain range. Whose legend would intimadate his opponent more? Dont forget Legion still talk about him, despite Ceasar executing anyone who mentions his name. Also, Lanius is described as a man who nevers runs into a fight he can lose, which is why he has never been beaten. Graham on the other hand, faced every opponent he ever came against. Whether he looked like he would win or not. He lost the first battle of hoover dam, but he still fought in it. You can talk lanuis into running away. Im giving this to graham because of skill, intimidation, and over all control of his legend.

In my opinion they are both very skilled and strong characters. However if we're talking the entire legion, they would win. Through their sheer number and skilled troops. Now if it was a 1 v 1 situation between lanius and graham I still think lanius would win. Simply because he is so much stronger, bigger and more ruthless then Joshua. Over all legion would win as they are bigger and would have more skilled troops then just 2 simple tribes.

Joshua and the dead horse would win if they didn't get in any frontal assualts because they're better at scouting and taking the enemy out silently.

I think this war regardless of skill commanding Joshua Graham would end in defeat his tribe. As everyone knows legion Caesar controls a much larger area than the people of Joshua. Legion to have quite a lot of human resources, controls the trade routes, has the advantage of numbers and technology. I do not think in long-term conflict, Joshua was able to overcome such power, even if NCR has serious problems defeating a legion of Caesar.

This, this is precisely the reason why Joshua has a serious advantage. However, Lanius has all of Caesar's 80+ tribes to go after them. I seriously doubt that the Dead Horses, the Sorrows, and Joshua with his .45 can overcome this. The odds are too far in the Legion's favor.
In 1v1, however, well, realistically, Joshua has a gun, he's fast, and he's a very good shot. Lanius is put down in that scenario.
