I've been searching for a good site with some good modding content for quite a while, specifically for Fallout New Vegas. And then one day (yesterday) voilà!

I've been a lifelong gamer. As a toddler I was already button mashing on the good old NES, Mega Drive... Then started playing on Sony's consoles and still do (and the occasional few games on Nintendo systems).
I wasn't much of a PC gamer aside from a few games (Sims, WoW) but my laptops simply couldn't handle them in the long run.

About two years ago I bought a good PC and was amazed at how smooth games played and didn't even have to burn my lap.


As for modding, I love to mod my games. But I'm only decent at very simple mods. Other than that I just download and follow instructions.

This site looks like a nice and friendly community. I'm looking forward to learn more and enhance my gaming experience.
I am more of a lurker than a poster though. Observing and learning.

Welcome to the Gunetwork community !
It's a great community : all the members are friendly and we help each others.
But to be promoted I don't think that say I'm a lurker is really advisable because lurking for the members is hiding and enjoying the mods without a contribution to the forum. Most of colonials are already demoted because they are lurkers.
You don't need to be active every day we all have a private life but posting when you are connected is advisable.
Anyway have fun with the mods and see you around.

I am poor in modding skills, maybe more than you.(poor in english too, another problem, lol). But I can guarantee you one thing: you won't be able to stay passive for longtime, there are a lot of interesting threads to read and to discuss in here and I am pretty sure that this will make you react.

By lurking I simply mean I'm not the type to go post and comment on every single topic. But when I feel I can contribute to something I definately will post.
