| So, which town/city/village would reside?
My first pick might be goodsprings, not a greatly defensible area, lack of walls or even a moat. But Goodspring Source has my water needs covered and people seem to get along just fine with each other.
The NCR prison wouldn't be a bad idea either, fenced which is better than nothing, has the guard towers on all corners of its perimeter, and with a decent group of survivors, water would be covered by pillaging Goodsprings Source. (unless goodsprings defense is lead by the FNV protagonist in which case we all know what happened to the powder gangers.) |

| More or less I'd fortify my own area. The area around Goodsprings Source is great but the Powder Gangers' mentality of "we own this land now" would really be troublesome. Then there is Primm which, depending on your actions is a Gang-hotspot, NCR Location, or a self-governed entity. Again, too many gangers. I'd like somewhere close to a large NCR presence, so probably that hotel outside Camp McCarren. I can deal with Fiends, or run a few feet into the NCR's Base, and the large trooper patrols nearby make quick work of fiend activity anyways.
If I have to pick a already-settled area, definitely w/out a doubt Mojave Outpost. Large NCR Presence, frequent traders, and Rangers. If I could go even further with NCR places, Camp Golf. Really heavily fortified area with plenty of water.
Or I'd like to live in Bitter Springs. Bitter Springs is nice I hear. [/joke] |

| Nellis Air Force base. Plenty of arms/ammunition, only one way in and out so it's easy to defend, and it's out of the way from most of the wasteland so (hopefully) no one would come looking to take it over. Barracks to sleep in, solar arrays for power, a medical ward for anyone who gets sick/injured, and farms for food. Nellis has pretty much everything you could want/need to survive in the wasteland. |

| I'd reside in Goodsprings. There is a source of clean water, Bighorners and small lots with crops being grown for food, an everyday bits and pieces shop, doctor, and a bar. Everything you need to live a simple life. _________________ "Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrr Ahhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrr Uhrrrrrrrrrrrr Ahhhhhhhhhhhg Arrrrrrrrrrrh" ~ Chewbacca

| Can't believe I didn't think of Nellis. Can I change my answer to Nellis? |

| Haha, only if you let me change my to Nellis too. Plum forgot about that Air Force Base. Celtic Warlord you pretty much summed up my thoughts on Goodsprings, it seems like a great place for simple life, and i'm all about being keeping things simple. |

| I just realized.
How do we even get into Nellis? Let alone become accepted enough to live there...
Pretty sure as a group we'd have nary a 1/4 of the luck the Courier had when he tried to get in. |

| The Strip sounds like a reasonable choice to me. Appealing too. Otherwise I'd say Hidden Valley. Well hidden (as the name suggests, hah), sheltered from outside menaces, and let's not forget it's a BoS safehouse. There are few safer locations. |

| I'd clear out Bonnie Springs and set up shop there away from all the hustle and bustle of the wasteland. Getting dangerously close to Cazador country though, I might have to settle for good ol' Goodsprings |

| Goodspring for sure. No troubles, only geckos and coyotes, and quiet little town, too. |

| I would like to reside in the Hidden valley BoS bunker. I like energy weapons as well as the Brotherhood...although the air filtration system would have to be fixed first..... _________________ |

| Jacobstown for sure due to it's remoteness with snow and friendly supermutants, if not there Zion, it's my favourite place in the Fallout Universe besides the DC ruins |

| I would perhaps live in Nellis AFB, would love to be surrounded by that pre-war military architecture.Though i wouldn't mind living at the 188 Trading post just to be a bit out in the wastes of the Mojave. |

| I wouldn't mind settling down out in Sloan, easily defensible only two ways in or out. Plus it's the main road to New Vegas, bound to be some good gear passing through for trade. _________________ Development Team: Story Writer/ Director / PR Representative |

| Realalistically I'd probably end up living in Westside or Goodsprings, but if I could choose I'd like to live in New Vegas maybe work at one of the Casinos. _________________ |
