- I'm unsure. I hate settlements and anything that has to do with them so I'm not going to touch the small ones with a ten foot pole. But the nuka world has my interests, but not really my attention. Far harbor was boring to me and couldn't hold my interest. If I wanted to play point lookout I'd play point lookout. I don't care about synths, the children of atom, or the people on that island, they were all two demential and pretty flat. I never beat that DLC or really left far harbor. Nuka world is eeehhhh. Everyones excited because it'll "let you be evil" but whats likely gonna happen is the quests and "evil" will be self contained to whatever worldspace it takes place in and won't effect the commonwealth at all. If they are going to give me a DLC thats a remake of a DLC, make it the Pitt, the fucking gladiator arena and having to slowly get better gladiator gear, then also having all your stuff taken away. That was the shit. I hate that they see the settlements as one of the main features of the game. I hate settlements with a passion and don't want them to be incorporated in any of the next DLC's. What's bothered me almost as much as the workshop DLC's is how reddit gets militant if you say you don't want them. Everyone on the fallout subreddit is saying "OH MAN IM EXCITED FOR THE NEW WORKSHOP DLC" and there was a big thread earlier today telling everyone who didn't like the workshop DLC's that their opinion is wrong basically. I'm overall sick of the fallout subreddit, its pretty bad. The final straw was today when I saw a thread asking about multiplayer. I'm not posting there anymore for anything except mods and FROST.
To be fair, there is a large fanbase that does enjoy the settlement stuff, and bethesda tries to appeal to everyone. I do wish they would've focused more on quest dlcs, but I get their reasoning. You can't say that Bethesda has to do one thing just cause you're not a fan of the other. It's unfortunate, I know, but that's a business for you. I personally don't mind the settlement stuff, if I didn't have the season pass, I wouldn't buy it though. And yeah, most redditors don't care about the idea of opinion, and generally downvote anything they disagree with, it's ridiculous. Good luck on Frost btw. _________________ |

| I think I gave off the wrong impression, I don't mind settlement stuff, but I am very very upset that they are releasing more settlement packs than they are quests. Going off precedent bethesda has released mostly quest DLC's, and that was what I was expecting. When they raised the season pass price to $60 I was excited because I thought they'd release more quests and fix my biggest issue with the game. Now that we have what might be the last DLC, I feel buyers remorse. I wish I hadn't spent the money on the season pass, or any of the DLC. I'm extremely disappointed in Bethesda's decisions and the direction they are moving Fallout, and I hope they bring it back to its roots in the next game. They tried stuff out, some worked, some didn't. By far my biggest issue with settlements was how forced into the game it was, not that it was implemented improperly but by just how much the game wanted you to do it. They said you could totally ignore it, but there is an entire faction dedicated to settlements. I leave or kill preston Garvey so I won't get the quest telling me to build settlements clogging up my quest log. TL;DR: Settlements are fine in the game, I just hate how much it pushes you to use them. And I don't feel like I got my money's worth out of the DLC and wish I could refund it. |

| @Doggo Nah, I got what you were saying, I totally have the same opinion. I was expecting a lot more dlc, and especially when fallout 4 was released. When they announced the first "wave" of dlcs, I was under the impression that we'd get at least 3, hopefully 4 or 5 quest dlcs, with settlement stuff sprinkled around, but now I am definitely disappointed. To be fair, it's the same amount we got in skyrim as far as quest dlcs go, but definitely not on the level of fallout 3 and new vegas. _________________ |

| To be fair not all of NV dlc were all that great imp, dead mony was just the worst painful experience i had since i first picked up any fallout game. Honest hearts was not great, while i loved the location the quest felt kinda rushed tbh,to me far harbor has been better than most. |

| I wish there was more quest DLC, and new worldspaces to explore like FO3 DLC offered. At least Nuka World and Far Harbor have something to offer, but man would I have loved a China DLC.

| The way I look at it, there'll be 4 "Waves" of DLC, each wave with a story DLC and two workshop DLCs, so that adds up to 4 story DLCs like the previous fallout games. If that is indeed the case I'll be more than happy with all the DLC, as it stands I got the season pass for its original price so I already feel like I got my value for money. _________________ Grudge rhymes with fudge.

| Unfortunately that is not the way it will go. Only three waves and Todd Howard has said so not long after showing off the recent DLC's. _________________ |

| I think Far Harbor was alright, although I've only seen it from livestream playthroughs on Twitch. I don't have Fallout 4 myself, but from what I have seen, I think it is alright. I did hear something about Nuka World is the last DLC for Fallout 4? If that is the case well, I do think they could have done better with the DLCs for Fallout 4. What i am trying to say by that is that for example, New Vegas had 4 DLCs that was in a different place. Different setting, diferent location. Wide range of New weapons, new clothing. In Fallout 4, If the case is that Nuka World is the last one, well wouldnt that make only 2 of those type of DLCs for Fallout 4? Because the different setting and location DLCs for Fallout 4 would be Far Harbor and the upcoming Nuka World wouldnt it? If it is the last one then i really do feel like they could've still kept on going with more DLCs for Fallout 4 . Was really expecting more DLCs to come for it. |

| I just hope nuka world fills up the void that the commonwealth gives such as a quarter of the map being water with nothing really in it |

| @notjew Well coming from someone who prefers new vegas, yeah I'd say it's worth it. It's still a fun game, it still has some rpg aspects (just significantly less), and it's got way better combat. With all the mods coming out, in a few years it will be a very good game. It all comes down to personal taste though, many fallout fans (especially the fallout 1 and 2 elitists who believe everything after the originals are blasphemous) trash the game, but it's really overreaction. _________________ |

| I bought the Season Pass for 30 bucks and I'm not regretting it. I loved Fah Habbaaahh and was fine with Automatron, too. The Arena DLC wasn't that great, because there was so few content added and with Contraptions... mhh dunno.. I just don't get what for what use freakin balltracks are. I'm superhyped for the Vault one tho, cause Experiments on settlers sounds like an interesting thing to do. Nuka World is interesting, too, especially you can probably finally be the bad guy in it. For 30 bucks the content is worth tho imo. And Pete Hines/Todd weren't too specifiy wether new dlcs are comin' after august, so we'll have to wait and maybe stand up for "protesting" for another large story dlc _________________ Nuka Cola.
