| So, I was sprucing up a personal companion of mine, and I waas trying to give her some custom headgear, unfortunately it's not exactly... on her head. Anyone know how to fix this? See image for in-game example. Thanks in advance. -Spiffy _________________ |

| i was thought a fair bit about rigging mainly heads, did you try rig this model in blender yourself? it looks as though you forgot a bone or misplaced the coordinates i could be wrong but its worth a look,
and p.s when i found this problem i just started rigging the model from scratch again as it saved me headaches lol |

| @FafnirEtherion I used your source, and I used FNVEdit. It works, but now my companion in visibly larger than ever other NPC in the game. Any idea on how to fix this or why it might be happening? Thanks for the help btw. _________________ |

| @Spifferino
the follower overall is much bigger but still proportionate? if so you could try changing her scale in the console im sure you know how but if not go into console and click on her and type setscale 1 ( 1 is the default size for all npc's ) if 1 still doesn't work try 0.9/0.95/0.8/0.85 keep changing the value until you are happy with her height,
apologies if it seems stupid to ask you to do this fix but since its so simple a lot of people would overlook it |

| @"Spifferino" Are you sure there haven't been any edits to the scale of the npc in GECK? |

| @VWgolfR1 I'm 100% certain, as I even tried to scale her down in the GECK and she was still bigger than the rest. _________________ |

| @"Spifferino" I apologize, but I've also hit a brick wall with this one. Setscale console command also doesn't work?
I remember that I tried once to replace a tree mesh with another one, and the new mesh became gigantic in the game. This problem may well be related to the Nifskope settings if the setscale command does not work. And Nifskope settings are a needle in a haystack when it comes to finding solutions to such problems. I'd suggest to ask for someone here who is much more familiar with it, although I don't know where to start. |

| @VWgolfR1 @FoVet20 I used the setscale command in console. I set her to scale 1, she became normal size. Strangely enough, when I look in the GECK, it says she already is the default size. _________________ |

| @Spifferino
thats great news buddy did it save the scale you set after you closed the game?
and yeah the GECK can be a bit odd at times and can cause confusion |

| If it won't save the scale after you load the game, then you have to save the game with the setscale command already done. But I'm glad that the command worked. |

| @FoVet20 @ VWgolfR1 I used the setscale command, after I re-load my saved game she goes back to above the default size. _________________ |
