Ive always been a fan of the scoped hunting rifle. Lets face it thats generally the to go to rifle when first sniping until you upgrade via mods or sniper or .50 cal. Plus it always go along with with most role playing builds.

My favorite is probably "This Machine", one of the most OP weapons in-game at the cost of 50 points to Science, Once I got my M1, I'm going on a legion shooting spree! And Dat Ping doe.

Can't go wrong with the Service Rifle, out of all the vanilla New Vegas weapons that's the one I always had a soft-spot for. With Milenia's retexture I never replaced the rifle in-game. Even if I rarely used it I always kept the weapon handy, even with many modded weapons in my own or NPCs' hands.

A light in shinning darkness would have to be my favorite gun.

Minigun pure and simple. I'm very much of the mentality more barrels = more fun. Especially when the spin.

In Fallout 2 I really enjoyed the YK 42B Pulse Rifle.
EVE for Fallout 3 brought it back and more beautiful as it was especially the effects *-*

A Light In Shining Darkness is perfection... Joshua Graham is the greatest NPC in Fallout history

The Medicine Stick is also pretty good

Edit: Only played FO3 & FNV & I like em both but I liked FNV's weapons just a bit more. Liked FO3's stuff but I liked FNV's added variety of contemporary weapons more. I do like FO3 a bit more overall & I could just imagine if FO3 was remade & updated to the same updated stuff FNV had.. It would've been nicer.. then again there's already mods for that. Anyway, my FNV fave weapon is the brush gun.

My favorite Weapon from Fallout was the special Chinese Assault rifle from Fallout 3.

Plasma Caster, hands down.

I'm a Mysterious Magnum kind of guy.

1911 pistol all day everyday. Either that or any kind of revolver, they just do it for me.

I've always been fond of the anti-material rifle. Nothing like making an enemy's head explode at long range. I have however replaced it with the sniper from the Halo weapons pack in my most recent playthrough.

Chinese Assault Rifle from Fallout 3, definitely. I understand the reason for why there's no AK's in Fallout 3 (lore) and why we couldn't have them so the Chinese Assault Rifle felt very satisfying to use.

I always enjoyed the original design for the 10mm pistol, in the Bethesda/Obsidian games it would have to be a mod that created the Man With No Name's revolver from the trilogy of the same name. Vanilla it would have to be the Mysterious Magnum or the Holorifle.

What's not to love about the Infiltrator? It's compact, has a scope, and is silent, all in the same package! Not to mention it's the weapon that I imagine most people who play The Pitt use for most of the DLC.

Do you even Metal Blaster, bro? The crits with that laser shotgun were ridiculous. It was also fun running around with the Mauler or Man Opener and tear things to shreds, if the animation didn't break.

As for my all-time favorite weapon, it would probably be a good old sniper rifle. No bells, no whistles, only damage and accuracy. You could get one in two different places early on in Fallout 3, and lots of ammo from Arkansas' caches, and it stays functional throughout the game in terms of effectiveness. I have probably killed more enemies with a sniper than I have with all other weapons combined.
